No. 16 is an air cleaner/purifier system. It is hard-wired into the 12V electrical system and works in conjunction with the climate control system.
No. 17 is a smaller, less powerful version of No. 16. It is solar powered and can be used on the dash or the rear deck, or both.
Earl "ensteele" has one in his JDM SVX. See the photo below
