Well, I just checked the resistor and it appears to be good.. I checked it with an ohm meter and it has resistance, so I guess my problem is actually Duty Solenoid A.. Where is it located? How soon do I need to fix this?
Duty solenoid A is located in the tranny valve body. It involves a pan drop. It controls line pressure. Without it, you'll get full line pressure at all times. If you like the "slamming" shifts, you can deal with it for a while. I have a diagram of the location on my home computer. I've also posted it to the Network if you want to use the search button.
