I have recently started to get this spam as well. I am on yahoo mail.
I get this spam on an email that I only used for work. It gets no spam normally, it was very private email.
Turns out a couple weeks back a buddy that used to work for me got his personal email hacked.
Well since my address was in his address book.. now I'm getting spam..
So chances are even if you don't use your email to sign up for things...
One of your friends will prolly get their email hacked and their address book stolen and your address will get added to the to be spammed botlist.
