PermaCool is the way to go on the transfilter - just make sure you get the kit that has the boss for the temperature gage sender already drilled and tapped. I've got RaceConcepts slotted and dimple-drilled rotors all around on my SVX. I wouldn't advise going with through-drilled rotors, as they are prone to crack over time.

p.s. as far as the stock trans filter goes, it's my understanding that it was only used on the 92 and 93 models (located on the driver's side front frame rail, right next to were the tie-down bracket bolts on)...but then I could be wrong
