Yes it was a flatbed... However there was no way to keep the wheel on correctly...
And yes... LOL, My Rack-N-Pinon has been leaking on that side
ever sence i got it.. It goes though one quart every
3 weeks (everyday driving) So its not that bad... But I dont have
the $700 (parts and labor) to get it replaced!!!
I BELIVE the wheel is fine... Mabey a new Tire however.
as I said above... I hope this gets other SVX owners to go out
and atleast get them checked before they run into this.
Now... it is only a $140 Fix ($75 for part, $65 (1 hour) labor)
However... it mite have caused more damaged just getting it towed.
we put that wheel on a GoJack (Lifts that wheel up)
but it still put ALOT of strain on everything under there.
This Poor thing I swear, when I got it, it had the leak, My
Spedo didnt work (and still doesnt, cause im afrade to get it
checked to find out the price
Had to replace the Radator ($400
)
The Fenders on the front, the hood all have white spots
(cause the guy who had it, tried using a wax on chiped paint)
and the Driver Side door has a bad dent in it, The Passanger
Side Turn Light, and Headlight doesnt sit correctly
(hence why I think the Prev. owner had some type of minor
crash that made the Ball Joint Week in the first place)
It needs alot of work... However I've wanted a SVX ever sence
I saw my first one, at the ABQ Street races, when I was in a
1990 Legacy Turbo Sport.. and the SVX blew me away!!!!!
So this is my Project car... I plan on having it fully restored.
