Thanks Johnny,

I have been a little previous in my praise of the SVX. Complete breakdown last night. Revving out in all gears, going nowhere fast.

The cheapest solution, burst/disconnected pipe, loss of ATF, is not the one, it is still full of oil. So it can be a stuck valve, clogged strainer, broken pump or a number of other unwanted ills.

Will have the car freighted back to the shop tomorrow, see how we go.

Let you know how the situation develops,

Joe
So sorry to hear of your reversal of luck That happened to me once with the Trooper I owned some years back. I had the engine rebuilt after a head gasket blew on it and wrecked the internals. it took weeks for the shop to rebuild it for me. When I finally picked it up and drove away, I didn't get more than 10 minutes from there when a radiator hose blew and the water dumped out before I knew it had happened and destroyed the engine. They accepted responsibility when I reamed them out for rebuilding the engine and not replacing any of the hoses and they honored their work and rebuilt it a second time at their expense but what a pain in the patooty!

Better luck with your SVX
