I must set my face like flint. At least the internals are all new. Something must bave broken, and possibly the simplest fix would be a valve but it's a wait and see job.

The police have recovered the car stolen in the robbery. Would be good fortune if my tranny was still in the trunk. However, the car is impounded as part of a big criminal gang thing, and the garage owner has not been allowed near it to see what might be in it.

Hopefully no major components destroyed in the tranny that is on the car. It was driving really, really well in the day and a half I had it to enjoy.
