You are mixing up my car's rate of progress with a gin sodden weekend in Hong Kong. A Sloe boat to China, as it were.
As metrics go, degrees Furenheit is an Imperial measurement. It's a handy measurement, when taken in the right spirit[see above], but having imprecise units, is unable to distinguish clearly between hot, very hot and dangerous to touch.
It is a rule of thumb, after all. Caveat emptor and draw your own conclusions on the state of health of the tranny. The management do not....yadda yadda
