Okay, I can't contain my excitement any longer. My company's latest game, Saints Row, is almost on shelves.
I worked on this game for about 15 months, but it's been in development for over three years. The time I spent on the project was the most grueling in my career, but seeing this project completed and seeing the excitement it's generating has made that all worth it.
We released the demo on XBox Live, and 350,000 people downloaded it in the first week. Microsoft said that was a record for a Live demo, and it represents a ponderous amount of bandwidth, since the demo is 900mb+.
The game will be on shelves August 29th. Here's a tip: preorder it from Circuit City and you can get a 360 faceplate with it.
