I just finished up things on my main floor. Since there is a new TV in the basement the set that used to be down there has been moved into the nook in the living room. It's 19" deep since it was designed for a CRT, so there's a long articulating mount behind the TV holding it up to the back wall.
Here's how it used to look. I installed the two sconces and the light above the nook, there used to be nothing there.
The sconces were a design idea that failed miserably, so they have been replaced with in-wall speakers, but I left the overhead lights for the mantel because I think they look very nice especially when they're dimmed down.
