hey guys-

excuse me for a second while i get back on topic..

i thin kreplacing the PS fluid wouldn't be a bad idea. I replaced the PS belt and the squeak is still there. However the AC belt looks really chopped up on the underside, so I'm thinking that the fault didn't lie with the PS belt at all.. I'm gonna replace the AC belt this afternoon and see if the problem goes away. The PS pump seizing would probably explain the smoke at start up.. especially when the car is cold.. like the PS pulley freezes or something. Anyway, is it enough to just siphon the fluid out of the resivior, or should I really drain the whole system? I'm at work until 2pm, then I'm leaving for the autoparts store and my garage, so if anyone has any pearls of wisdom, please leave them asap

thanks
