Hmm...probably rear wheel bearings, not tires. the tires SHOULD be evenly worn out on all 4 corners. if not, there could be some other issues
With an svx, you gotta look at all the typical "Im buying a used 15 year old car" kinda stuff....there's alot of svx-specific things to check out in the how-to section.
as for the price..Unless there's something insanely wrong with it mechanicly (Like...say..both the engine and tranny um, exploded, and the main wiring harness was made of pipe cleaners and electrical tape) then jump on it. Ask them, for a test drive, you'll be hooked
before you know it, you'll have 14 of 'em
