A/C won't stay cold

I just had my A/C checked last friday. Test were performed for leaks and pressure etc.. A little freon was added but is normal to lose a little. With the engine running in the parked position the air was blowing cold. Around 47 degrees. But this was not with the car driving around. Anyway my air blows cold for only a few minutes at a time and then shut off for a long time. You will start sweating before it comes back on if at all. All tests were good. Has anyone had this situation before and what possible causes could it be. I'm going back for a a/c road test soon since they say the problem has to happen when testing to zero in on the problem.
