So many open ended threads!
Did you get the problem resolved? When I replaced my front axles one of the replacements had a seal on it. Didn't think much of it when we installed. Once installed the wheel would barely turn. Turns out the seal dug into the hub when we tightened the nut. Took out the seal and all was well.
