[QUOTE=Weebitob;524265]I know the engine the 2008 North American STi is the same 2.5l from last, it still uses the same twin-scroll turbo as in every other market.

Nope. They change the decking to that of the Legacy GT. And while bacily the same(same block and internals) it's more powerfull. 308 at the crank vs. 280 I think is what last years was set at. No twin scroll but that can be changed. Plus the STi as priced is was better than the EVO. EVO at 33K is base as an 07' WRX and has the 5 speed. The only thing I like in the new EVO is the tiptronic 6. R32 is sweet and for only being around 3 years it's pretty well built. USDM STi is also faster than the JDM 2.0 beleive it or not. JDM gets the nice seats though. I like the now STi and would take it over any Mistsubishi anyday. It may not look as agressive as the EVO stock but at least people don't reffer to is as a cat fish. Base EVO is stripped out and still heavier than the STi and way out classed by the STi and R32. Though I do like a good Impreza wagon so I might be biast.

What they call it a vanity-plate. Shouldn't I be obligated to be vane with it?
