track test? from all i've read, the STi is faster than the EVO in a straight line, but the EVO will come out ahead on the track due to better handling, unless there's a bunch of long straights, which might give the advantage to the STi.
it would be easier to add power to the EVO, than add handling to the STi, so the EVO would be my pick when i start looking for a new car. the STi is butt-ugly, so that makes the decision easier, too.
don't know much about the new VW, but i would never even consider buying one.
