there once was a rumor that the design language used on that car would possibly be used to resurrect a 2011-2012 GT coupe... a possible SVX successor...

But it was only a rumor. Unlikely anyway, and not clear as to whether they meant an additional coupe, or if they were talking about the FT-86 project coupe, which Subaru and Toyota are working on.

But I don't necessarily think this hybrid tourer concept bears relevance to a direct new product, though. a tech showcase, and a new design language to float for public opinion...
