I believe just about every year had some minor modifications, much like any car on the road. Oh, and 96 was the first year of OBDII, the 95's were OBDI (though I think some late 95's actually got OBDII, though I can't confirm that). I owned a 94, a 95 and now a 96 so I speak from experience
Also, there were some changes to the transmission in 95 and again in 96 in order to increase reliability. Unfortunately, they didn't do much about the core cause of the problem (heat dissipation), but there are a few manufacturing differences between years.
Other than that, the majority of parts are completely interchangeable. The only differences between the two "main models" of SVX was the engine management... and therefore a different ECU.
