I have yet another brilliant idea for those of us who try to verbally describe automotive zoo noises. "Thunk, clank, tinkle, thud, whump, rata-tata, screech, etc., etc." could be represented by icons like smilies. We could then quickly relay those strange sounds to the group by a few keystrokes. Something between a Thunk & a Clank could be #/*, & we'd instantly know what part needed replacement!
Any suggestions for icons? I can't make smilies work from this computer.
