Found a good mechanic
Ive been taking my Legacy and SVX to a local guy(lives less than a mile from me) and has done excellent work on both cars. Recently changed a drivers front axle out and only charged $35. While I was there I asked how much to do the wheel bearings and he quoted 35-40 per wheel. He is one of these old timey mechanics who doesnt fool around, had the axle changed out in less than a day. I paid more for the axle than the labor. Cash only though but without taxes-which is a big plus here in Tennessee, ..0975 cents on the dollar.
