After my time at the ice races, I'd have to throw my vote down for the nokian hakkapeliitta RSi over the Revo1's. They felt much more solid around corners, and most importantly IMHO when regaining grip after a slide or drift.

The Hakka line are also the most common tire run at the Sno-Drift rally every year.

Braking, the Revo1's and the Hakka's were about the same. As well as with acceleration.

Nokian makes a few different winter tires. The RSi's are best if you'll be on mostly slippery roads. (ie. roads that get plowed regularly, icy conditions.) If you'll be driving in mostly deeper snow that doesn't get plowed, the Hakkapeliitta 5 is the way to go (you can get it studless comply with local laws).

They've got other models aimed at mainly slushy conditions, etc... depending on the climate you're in. Winter tires (just like all-seasons) shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all scenario. Pick a tire that's made for your style of winter.
