Must've missed the link, somehow...

I thought the O-rings were different R-12 vs. 134A? That was the reason you swapped them when you convert: the guy that worked on the SVX about a month ago put in a pound of R-12 but MISSED the problem at the switch! He's already drained out the R-12 that was so recently installed and will get me going with a full charge (actually a "no-charge" full charge !!!) once I find a switch!

Am I not correct in thinking that R-12 O-rings are different from the ones you change to for 134A? If they are not "special" (as in Subaru part numbers) are they just the old-type R-12 O-rings? Size?

If you look on Subaruparts.com for 1995 or so they do show this hardline with A switch (I think it is the same type/design line) but shows three O-rings included: two at the top & bottom of the line and it LOOKS like another one at the switch...

My switch threads in, don't think it even had an O-ring. Also, as I wrote earlier, no exploded diagram for 1992 model years.
