All in all... I think the information given is a little vague. Sounds like he's trying to give you solutions... not symptoms. What he thinks is wrong and what actually might be wrong are more often than not two totally different things.

Yeah, a lot of the stuff seems like solutions but it is where I take my XT and Brat to get fixed (the SVX never needs fixed)
. This is all stuff the mechanic told the owner of the dealership that it needed just from a quick once over. He really hates selling SVXs but someone traded it in I'm thinking. The place only deals in Subies.
