Yes. I measured each corner and wrote down the "stock" height (knowing it has 20 years of sag). I also used the tape to write the height setting from one side to the other to keep them pretty level, at least to start.
I settled on about 1/2" lower than where I started before removing the OEM stuff. I still want to keep a close to stock height and I literally laugh out loud every time I see someone do the "diagonal creep" over speed bumpers, driveway entries, or drainage ditches - so I don't wanna be that guy.
