It amazes me how quickely those get bad. On our racer it looked just as bad 8 months and 500 miles after we had done it once (which is about an inch of sludge and clutch material). My F-250 is the same way but you get to clean it out when you change the fluid- annually for me since it doesn't have a drain bolt.
