Naw... that's no excuse. There are at least two alternatives I can think of offhand that are readily available at just about any place selling household appliances. My Mom didn't want to remodel her kitchen 30 years ago, so she got herself a portable on wheels and kept it that way for 25 years.

a portable on wheels that can be stored anywhere out of the way when you don't need it, or adds extra work space in your kitchen



a mini about the same size as a large microwave
