A lot less work and irritation than some of the other techniques suggested. Unseating a tire with your brake rotor... Having worked in a tire shop for several years that idea doesn't sit well with me. Some tires let go very easily, others are much more difficult. Particularly low profile, sport tires like one would often find on a set of 17" BBS rims. Partially supporting your 2 ton car on a rubber bag that will suddenly let go at an unpredictable moment really sounds like a recipe for getting hurt.

Yes I was going to do the index card trick, that is if I end up doing it at all. I am still somewhat undecided, and haven't found paint yet.
