I'm pretty sure the only thing that tells the ECU what octane you're running is the knock sensors, because the only function of higher octane is to prevent knock. It's a myth that burning a higher octane than you need enhances performance. It does nothing but waste money.
Premium in Georgia is 93 octane; has been for years.
