Confused by this! I know nothing about flow dynamics and such but just using my 'common sense', I would make an exhaust that would be the same size all the way through OR start off with a max flow/least restriction diameter and step it down as it gets closer to the muffler. Make it smaller by .25 perhaps but no more. My reasoning for this is to maximize flow but keep restriction at a minimal.

Why would you go larger the further you move out from the exhaust ports? Wouldn't that slow down the exhaust flow?


RE-EDIT!!!! Nevermind.....you are going from a dual to a single. I'm thinking straight dual all the way though...
