The new Audi A6 (2005 and up).
You might find one with higher miles(>50K) or if you're willing to pay a few more grands, you might find a good one and still under factory warranty for less than a year.
I think the A6 interior is more luxurious than the M35 and especially the RL. And the quattro AWD is one of the best.
Or if you like, the 2006 Lexus GS 300 AWD. (AWD is optional)
You can find one around your price range or a little bit more. The miles are probably more than 50k but it's a Toyota. Luxurious interior. Reliable machine. Spacious. The navigation system is one of the best compare to all cars mentioned here. The resolution is the best, more intuitive, and it's touch screen. (similar to Lexus LS460) The keyless start system is finger push-start unlike the RL you still have to use your fingers to turn under the steering column.
