- Check the voltage being put out by your alternator. A loose battery terminal may cause a poor connection causing the alternator to put out more voltage to compensate burning out bulbs among other things.
There is a method to pull the trouble code yourself on
http://svx-iw.com/ in the codes section.
The cruise is usually one of 2 things - either the button on the dash may need a couple presses before the light stays on or else the hose under the hood came off.
