I was a bit crestfallen to see my baby damaged, and I still don't know what it will cost to repair, or how long it will take. It needs a rear quarter panel, and to replace it requires taking off a lot of bonded glass. Really difficult job.

My sorrow at getting the car damaged is totally eclipsed by gratitude that my other Baby was not hurt. I had my daughter Helen with me at the time. I am sure that the SVX saved both of us from possible whiplash. We both would have taken quite a thump in a lighter, lesser car.

Hopefully get my motor sorted and painted soon.
