Yeah, sounds like a plan. It appears a new shaft is ove 500$ + shipping + VAT and customs.... 7-800$ in total. That's quite a bit
I know a good prop shaft shop - need to talk to them.
The center bearing seems fine, except the rubber bellow "looks old" and sags toward the bottom
