If you are looking for performance, the first place think I'd do is replace all three of the OEM cats with a single highflow and try sticking with the OEM muffler. Magnaflow/Carsound has the greatest variety of cats. Easiest would be to use the 2-into-1 cat. I'd stick a couple of Magnaflow resonators before the cats. The tubing coming off the exhaust manifold is about 2" OD, and the tubing going into the OEM muffler is about 2.5" OD. So, you'd want the 2-into-1 cat with 2" inlets and a 2.5" outlet. I'd suggest using a Magnaflow 10414 or 14444 (stainless steel) resonator in each of the pipes before the cat. I'd put the resonators in the location of the OEM secondary cat, and I'd put the highflow cat in the location of the OEM premuffler. Try and get the muffler shop to use mandrel bent sections rather than doing crush bends on the tubing.
