I just got a call from my transmission guy. They have finally figured out what is wrong with my car. He removed the cover from the transmission control unit, and found a large burn spot on it. He got another one from a local salvage yard and is installing it tomorrow. I'm just curious as to how that can happen? What could cause it to burn up like that?
