I once ordered a Beige sill. After opening it inside the house I found that they sent me a grey one. I sent it back and they sent me a new one, that one was grey too. I sent it back a second time and when the 3rd one arrived, it looked grey too. I was very annoyed, but I decided to bring it out to the car to see side by side how different the color was. When I looked at it outside in the sunlight, sure enough it was beige. I felt like an idiot.
Anyhow depending on the lighting conditions that beige can look pretty grey.
