Question about adjusting AMR coilovers

The height in the front looks too high to me so I wanted to lower them.

The fronts measure (from outside the wheel) 26" from the ground to the lip of the fender on the front. The rears are only 24"

Can anyone tell me which of the collars you adjust on the coilovers to change the ride height? I thought it would be the one that meets the spring but after tinkering with it I am not sure. I lowered the spring collar down to about 1" left on the thread and it only lowered the car 1/2"

Once I loosened the collar that much, the spring I noticed that the spring was loose at that point. Once I put the wheel back on and lowered it the spring went back into place and is snug again but something about this doesn't seem right.

Should I be adjusting the lower collar instead? I tried that at first but it was so stiff I couldn't move it (even with no weight on it).

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
