Tom, your garage's gonna connected to your house's basement? Less one wall to build = save cost?

Half of the garage will be for parking one of our cars -- connected to the house means we don't have to walk outside when the weather is bad.

Are you going to build a bar serve beers and liquors in the garage?

I don't know about a bar, but there will be a full refrigerator in the basement.

Is your garage going to have kitchen inside so you can cook puppy
meat, puppy sandwich, puppy hotdog?

Are you going to put a phone jack for internet or computer usage?

NO, NO, NO!!!!! Then I'd never get him out of the garage! Seriously, if there is room, we may build a little "office" space in there. The basement already has a phone jack, we'll have to see about running it through the wall.

Are you going to put a restroom inside?

Our basement sits too low for a conventional flush toilet (below the level of the septic tank), so probably not.

Is it going to be a heated garage?

Of course! I wouldn't make my sweetie sleep out in an unheated garage!
