thanks guys, but why would it start after a jump if the shifter was in the wrong postion?
and when the car is in drive, the light comes on on the speedo cluster only when it feels like it...that really isn't a problem to me. but i don't know it that is a factor or not.
the car is also usually facing down hill if that could have anything to do with it.
i just want to have an idea of which one it could be before i go and spend money i don't have to, Thanks again!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
