Not to that extent Max.

For example for the Nissan 350z, there are around 4 strut stages for the trunk.

Stage 1 = OEM but with spring inside which makes the strut more durable.

Stage 2 = A bit stiffer than OEM, like 1.5x...

Stage 3 = Twice as stiff as OEM, for those who want a spoiler on the trunk (And Troy it turned out that I have these on and not Stage 2). NOT RECOMMENDED since they are really stiff for a wingless trunk.

Stage 4 = 3x as stiff as OEM, you need a weight on the trunk with these or else your lock with get ruined with time.

NOW,

For the SVX and since the trunk is heavy and most of them have wings, IMHO I think we need something like Stage 2 with spring inside. It will not ruin the lock...
