just be sure to either have a alternator shop undo and redo the solder or be sure you have a really powerful soldering gun 200 watts or a resistance soldering gun. Also check the wires going to the alternator they seem to crack from the heat above the engine. How much aftermarket equipment does the car have? Check that stuff out too.
