Hi Jay, If you go to
www.mobil1.com you can put in your cars info and they will tell you which oil and filter to use. Also you will need the gasket that goes on the drain plug. Although you tighten the filter by hand a quarter or half turn past fully seated you will need a filter wrench to get it off. And six quarts it is. You can buy Mobil1 in a five quart jug and then add one quart and your good to go. If you go to the Mobil1 web site, you can register so that each time you buy a case[six quarts] you get a credit that you can redeem for Mobil1 stuff. And last but not least. The Subaru Filter can't be beat for normal oil changes. Take care, BOBB
