87 is a no no. If I remember correctly you may over heat. Has to do with the detenation/octane thing. The onboard computer adjusts to the fuel on board, so constantly changing fuel may not be a good thing either.
On a diff. note: If you are in the east ie Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, the best fuel is Irving. Simply because it is the CLEANEST fuel made. They did a mega up grade to produce low/no sulpher gas. Esso has just started a maga refit of their refinery here to change over. Personally I buy the cheapest, usually Esso (Exxon for our southern bros.)
