I had assumed that there was no way that Subaru would actually use two different seat frames in LSi and L models (I suppose on the theory that those types of differences would not be worth any associated increased production costs), but it looks like I was wrong . . .

I agree with you Joe. When Bwana and I switched seats, we found this out too.
