Its pretty easy. When you park the car leave it in gear (the shifter is in the way in park) and pull the emergency brake. Pop out the ashtray and there is a plastic frame around the whole console with 2 small screws underneath it and I think you have to take the door off too, but I don't remember. But if you have some diff size screwdrivers and just poke around a bit you'll figure it out
