It's possible that they filmed portions of either or both of the movies here, but I've never heard anything about it. They certainly didn't shoot the beach scenes from the second movie here.

American Pie in my hands last night at Borders. I was perusing their DVD selection and almost bought that one. I put it back, realizing that 24 was on in an hour.
