You're definitely doing a better job of getting pictures than I did, I wish I had, had a digital camera to document it as I went, even a pic of my finger squirting blood, that'd make EVERYBODY want to try a 5-Speed swap!
Hope you get the pedals worked out soon, I still think you need to go with a cable clutch
,as I think the hyd. set up is going to be more troble than it's worth
, but if you get it worked out would be good to have that many more used tranny's to chose from
