Would 245/40/17's fit on the 17x8" Rota Torques with no rubbing issues on the SVX? I'm not sure of the offset of the Torques, but I really like that wheel design. I may get a set in gun metal grey next year...

If you went with 48 mm offset, there should be no rubbing. It will be very close to hitting the fender lip though. I just bought a set of 17x8 Bronze Torques. I'll have pictures of the wheels mounted on my car in a week or so.
