It looks to me like they just took a legacy estate, cut the top of the boot (sorry, trunk) off and stuck on a cheap plastic body kit.
What a great way to save on the R&D costs of a new vehicle.
And then they decided to paint it LEMON yellow. Somebody in their marketing department has a sense of humour.
