That o-ring is super easy to do, so its woth a shot. If that dosn't work...try spraying PB blaster or something similar on the u-joints in the lower part of the steering column and re-greasing them.Turn the wheel lock to lock a few times while you do it. Its on the drivers side down between the engine and frame. I had a problem where the wheel would turn in incriments, but I had no steering fluid losses at all, turned out to be that. Might not be it, but its free and worth a shot
